Call for Art!
Submission Dates: July 17 through July 28, 2024
On View: July 31 through August 31, 2024

Aha! Night: Thursday, August 8 (5-8:00pm)
The Public Xhibition is the show that started it all back in 1990, it has since grown to become our largest open call exhibition…any work of art, any theme, any artist! With no theme or style requirement artists of all backgrounds and skill levels are free to express themselves however they choose. So be sure to get your work ready to ensure you can be a part in celebrating its 35th iteration and with it Gallery X’s 34th birthday!
This exhibition is open to submissions from all artists working in any medium. Work may be submitted during Gallery hours or by appointment beginning July 17. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, July 28. When submissions are brought to Gallery X the artist will fill out a submission slip with basic contact and labeling information.
There is a size restriction for this show, we ask that any work submitted be no longer than 36″ in any dimension.

Submission Guidelines and Info
This is a non-juried show, all artists and media are welcome.
• Submission Fees (for non-members): $15 for the first piece, $10 for each additional piece, maximum 5 pieces per artist (2 for $25, 3 for $35, 4 for $45, 5 for $55). GX members submit work for free!
• All forms of media are accepted; paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, etc.
• All work must be ready to hang and include proper hanging attachments (wire, sawtooth hanger, etc.). Pedestals are available for sculptures, three dimensional work, or jewelry.
• Gallery X handles all sales and retains a 35% commission on any sale made by non-members. Members are subject to 25% commission on works sold. Works do not have to be for sale to be included in the exhibition.

Looking to save time? Print your submission slips ahead of time and have everything ready to go when you bring in your artwork! Please note if you are printing your own submission slip you must use the file below and bring 2 copies to the gallery (1 that will be attached to the piece and a 2nd that is given to the gallery attendant).
No printer? No worries… We have printed submission slips ready and waiting in the gallery!
